Key Peninsula Holiday Transportation Shuttle

Free Holiday Shuttle, Key Peninsula Residents November and December

Pierce County Human Services is offering free holiday shuttle rides to Key Peninsula residents from November 24 - December 24, 2023. The shuttle service is available on Black Friday, and every Saturday and Sunday from then until Christmas Eve.

Where are the stops for the shuttle located?

The KP Holiday Shuttle will have 11 stops, starting at the Longbranch Improvement Club and ending in Uptown Gig Harbor before returning back. Please check back on this website for a map of the route, including stop locations and travel times.

Who can ride?

Adults over the age of 18 may ride the shuttle. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

What can I use the shuttle for?

The shuttle is intended to provide transportation to Key Peninsula during the busy holiday season. Residents can park their cars at the bus stops and use the holiday shuttle for their shopping, errands, or leisure activities. Examples include:

Travel to Key Center to pick up groceries at Key IGA and have a cup of coffee at Madrona Café.
Take a jaunt to Lake Kathryn Village for some holiday treasures at Purdy Costless Pharmacy or to pick up project supplies at ACE Hardware.
Cruise over to Gig Harbor to shop at Uptown, see a movie at the Galaxy Theatre or pick up some beauty supplies at Ulta Beauty.
Get your work-out in at the YMCA or do your monthly “big shop” at Costco.

Ridership is important. Please encourage your friends and family to try out the KP Holiday Shuttle. Ridership data will help us improve transportation to the Key Peninsula.
