Pay Court Fines

Click here to make a payment online (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards are accepted). There is a service fee for processing payments online or over the phone. The total charge amount will be displayed prior to submitting the payment.  Once you have submitted your payment, you will receive an email letting you know if your payment has been accepted or rejected.


Alternative Payment Option - Work Crew Program

District Court Judges and/or court staff may refer individuals for Work Crew to help pay court fines.   Work Crews operate seven days a week from 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM.   The Work Crew schedule offers flexibility with both work and school schedules.   Click here to view an informational video and see how Work Crew could help you.


Mail a Payment

Pierce County District Court accepts checks and money orders by mail for certain cases only.  Please contact the Court online through Live Chat or by calling (253) 798-7487 before you mail a check.  Checks and money orders should be made payable to Pierce County District Court and must include the case/cause number.

Pay by Phone

If you wish to pay by phone, call (253) 590-4452 (bi-lingual) Monday - Friday from 5 AM - 5 PM and Saturday - Sunday 7 AM - 11 AM PST. There is a service fee for processing payments online or over the phone. The total charge amount will be displayed prior to submitting the payment. 


Pay Infraction Fees or Request to Make Payments on Infraction Cases

If you cannot afford to pay your fine in full and want to request a payment plan, contact the Pierce County District Court at (253)798-7487 or by email at [email protected].  Payment plans and/or payment alternatives (Work Crew Program) may be available upon request.

Fines are due in full within 30 days unless a payment plan is approved.  A one-time administrative fee of $10 is added to all payment plans.  You may pay online at www.pcdistrictcourtpay.com, by phone at (253) 590-4452, in-person, or by mail.  Failure to pay any fine may result in your case being sent to a collection agency and garnishment of your wages/assets, in addition to the following:

  • Traffic fines - may result in the loss of your driver’s license/privilege.
  • Non-traffic Infractions - are considered a crime and will be treated accordingly.
  • Parking/Photo fines - Washington Department of Licensing may refuse to renew your vehicle registration until any penalties imposed have been satisfied.


Collections

If your case has been assigned to collections, you must contact the collection agency, TSI Transworld System Inc. at 1-800-331-8019. You mail payments toTSI's payment center at P.O. Box15618 Wilmington, DE 19850-5618.
