What’s Happening

Engineering: We are beginning the design engineering for the project which includes collecting field information and creating construction plans. 

Land: Additional right-of-way needs will be assessed.

Environmental: Necessary environmental permits will be obtained.

Surveying: County surveyors will be in the area gathering field data for the project.

Planned improvements to B Street East are intended to improve accessibility and sidewalk connectivity along B Street East from 159th Street East to 152nd Street East. Planned improvements will include a paved shoulder adjacent to the vehicular traveled way and curb/gutter and sidewalk to both sides of the roadway where none currently exist.
