The Pierce County Law Library has four locations.

The main location is in the County-City Building in Tacoma. This law library in the courthouse is a specialty library. It is for legal research, for people wanting to learn more about the law, and for people working on their court case. It has the largest collection of legal books and has a staff that specializes in legal materials and helping people to find materials for their legal research questions.

The Law Library also has three branch locations in Gig Harbor, Parkland/Spanaway, and Sumner. The branch locations are possible thanks to the generosity of the Pierce County Library system. These are regular libraries that offered space on their shelves to host some of the most commonly used Law Library materials. This makes it possible for anybody to learn about the law and do advanced legal research with a short trip to your normal neighborhood library.
