Jan. 7 Road Update

Our crews have been busy responding to sites with water over the roadway, downed trees, and mudslides. Teams assessed the flood risk reduction infrastructure – such as levees – along our rivers, and did not find any damage from peak flows.

We’re seeing many sites with water over the roadway countywide. As the rain stops or tapers off, water is receding from the roadways and flooded areas. Crews will continue to monitor these areas.

Remember: Do not drive through standing water, near mudslides, near downed power lines, or around road closure barricades. Stay away from river edges during and after high water events.
