Request:   The applicants are proposing to: 1) remove the existing bulkhead and joint-use dock; 2) construct a 150-ft. long by 8-ft. wide single-use dock with 8 steel piles; 3) remove concrete boat ramp and replant the area with native vegetation; 4) place one Large Woody Debris (LWD) on the beach area; and 5) remove the existing unpermitted drive-on dock and floating boatlift. The proposed project is accessory to the existing single-family residence, on an approximately 0.59-acre parcel, located at 3823 Forest Beach Dr. NW, Gig Harbor, WA.

Request:   The applicants are proposing to: 1) remove the existing bulkhead, joint-use dock, and overwater solid wood walkway/deck; 2) construct a 150-ft. long by 8-ft. wide single-use dock with 8 steel piles; 3) remove concrete boat ramp and replant the area with native vegetation; 4) place four Large Woody Debris (LWD) on the beach area; 5) construct a 4 ft. wide permeable access walkway; and 6) construct two rock retaining walls on each side of the walkway for shoreline transition from the upland area to the beach surface. The proposed project is accessory to the existing single-family residence, on an approximately 0.60-acre parcel, located at 3815 Forest Beach Dr. NW, Gig Harbor, WA

Both the Steffen and Luong sites are located on the western shore of Horsehead Bay, in a Rural 10 (R10) zone classification, Residential and Aquatic Shoreline Environments, and Gig Harbor Peninsula Community Plan area, in Council District #7.
