The Pierce County Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) serves in an advisory and technical capacity to the Pierce County Council and Pierce County Planning & Public Works on matters relating to management of recycling services and solid waste disposal.

The SWAC is composed of community members, solid waste and business professionals, members of public interest groups, and representatives of local governments.

Members of the public are welcome to join the meetings in person at the Tacoma Mall Plaza or via Zoom.
