The Crystal Judson Family Justice Center received the 2014 Distinguished Organization award for exemplary service and support provided to domestic violence victims in our community.
The Tacoma-Pierce County Bar association presented the award to Center Director Susan Adams at the association’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Feb. 6.
“We are honored to receive this award. The collaboration of our many social service and government partners allows us to provide the comprehensive services our clients need in times of crisis and as they move forward toward lives of safety and stability.” said Rick Talbert, Pierce County Council Member and Chair of the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center Executive Board.
Established in 2005 through an agreement between Pierce County and the City of Tacoma, the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center serves the needs of domestic violence victims and their children by providing comprehensive victim services in a central, safe location. The center is named in honor of the late Crystal Judson Brame.
