Pierce County will offer an additional weekday run departing Steilacoom at 4:45 a.m. June 15-19 to support commuters during the U.S. Open Championship.
This run was added in anticipation of increased ferry demand and traffic in Steilacoom. The run may be adjusted depending on usage.
Ketron Island passengers must make a reservation by calling (253) 588-1950 at least 20 minutes in advance.
The U.S. Open Championship will be held June 15-21 at the Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place.
The Pierce County Ferry System provides service between Steilacoom, Anderson Island, and Ketron Island. Learn more about the system at www.piercecountywa.org/ferry.
