Council schedules more meetings to be held around Pierce County

The Pierce County Council will hold upcoming meetings in Eatonville, Buckley and Tacoma as part of its effort to make government more accessible to more people.

The Council, which normally meets Tuesdays in the County-City Building in downtown Tacoma, holds at least one meeting per year in each of the seven council districts, as required by the Pierce County Charter.

The seven-member body approved the following dates, times and locations at their Sept. 8 meeting:

Meetings for the remaining council districts will be announced as dates are confirmed. More information – including the council’s agenda – is available at www.piercecountywa.org/council.
