[ARCHIVED] Opening Tour Held at New Paver Facility in Frederickson

Oldcastle Soft Opening at Frederickson

Oldcastle APG West held an opening tour of their new paver facility on April 3rd for Pierce County officials. The tour provided a great opportunity for the company, general contractor, and officials, including Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier, to celebrate the project.

The international concrete manufacturer is putting the finishing touches on a new facility in Frederickson. The 57,000 square foot manufacturing plant and office on 28 acres will employ 75 people when fully staffed. Executive Dammeier welcomed the company at the event as the newest member of the Frederickson community of industries and praised the project for its quick timeline, “I understand that since the very first meeting with the County this project set a new standard for successful teamwork between company representatives, their designers and our permitting folks, and that’s the way it should be.”

Oldcastle is the North American arm of Ireland-based CRH PLC and produces concrete masonry, paving, and lawn and garden hardscape products.

Welcome to Pierce County! We wish you much success!
