Planning and Public Works and the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department are changing the way we work together to improve services for our shared customers.
Building on our long-term partnership, the Health Department added more employees at the Development Center to assist on-site sewage and drinking water permit customers so, you, our customers can get more done in one location.
As of Oct. 1, the team is now made up of George Waun, Kristen Farley, Kelly Racke, Maureen Walker and Greg Alton.
One-stop location for customers
This co-location supports our mutual goal of providing excellent customer service and creating a one-stop location for assistance and permitting needs.
We hope you visit us soon for your various permitting needs and tell us what you think!
Pierce County Planning and Public Works and the Health Department will continue to look for ways to improve our reviews and other process improvements with the assistance of our consultant, TokuSaku. We expect to present our findings to the Pierce County Executive and the Tacoma-Pierce County Board of Health early next year.
For those of you who completed a recent survey on our services, we appreciate your time and feedback. If you would like to provide additional feedback, please email Melanie at [email protected].
We will keep you updated as we move forward with this co-location and other improvements.
