Help us improve the Pierce County Stormwater Manual
If you have any suggested edits or comments about Pierce County’s Stormwater Manual, please remember to submit them by September 30.
Pierce County received a new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit on July 1, 2019. The Phase I Municipal Stormwater Permit, issued by the Department of Ecology, requires local governments to manage and control stormwater runoff to protect water quality.
This new permit requires us to make some limited changes to our Stormwater Manual, which establishes requirements for residential, commercial, industrial and subdivision projects to prevent and minimize impacts from stormwater runoff.
We want to use the opportunity to make minor technical changes to improve clarity, resolve conflicts or correct errors.
Thank you for your feedback.
