PIERCE COUNTY DISTRICT COURT - INCLEMENT WEATHER INFORMATION
District Court offices at the County City Building and Probation Offices at the Hess Building (Court Resource Center) will be open during normal business hours. If you are unable to make it to court or your probation appointment, or you will be delayed, please review the bulleted list for further clarification:
- If you are currently in trial or scheduled for a hearing in front of a judge, contact the court via Live Chat, email, fax or phone.
- For all matters involving probation, please contact the Probation Office at (253) 798-7595.
- Jurors who have questions should call Jury Administration at (253)798-7782.
EMPLOYEES ONLY: District Court employees are to check the message on the district court employee information line for inclement weather updates. Staff are encouraged to report to work at their scheduled time if it is safe to do so, even though there is a two-hour grace period from the Executive’s Office.
Pierce County District Court is the second largest District Court in the State of Washington and is proud to serve the citizens and visitors of Pierce County. The Court is staffed with 8 Judges and 103 court and probation employees. There are two sites where court activities are held; the County-City Building at 930 Tacoma Ave S., Tacoma, and the Hess Building (probation and court resource center) at 901 Tacoma Ave S., Tacoma.
