[ARCHIVED] Pierce County Development Center to close temporarily—use our online services instead

We understand the recent news about COVID-19 has raised questions and concerns. Out of an abundance of caution, the Pierce County Development Center is closing temporarily in response to these growing community concerns. The Development Center has consulted with Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department (TPCHD) during this public health emergency. We are working closely with our public health partners to ensure we take the appropriate steps at the right time to protect our staff and those we serve.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. Pierce County is committed to the timely review of applications. Our Development Center may be closed, but our staff are continuing to review applications and respond to your questions behind the doors.

Thank you for your sensitivity and cooperation. We will provide further information on the reopening of the Development Center in the coming weeks.
