Temporary Closure of cashier lobby 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19, effective March 17, 2020, the Pierce County Finance Department has temporarily suspended taking tax and sewer payments from the public at the following location:

Here are some other ways to make payments:

Property Tax Payments

Payments can be made online at www.piercecountywa.gov or mailed to:
Pierce County – Finance Department

Payments will be accepted in person at the Assessor-Treasurer’s Office:

Sewer Utility Payments
Non-cash sewer payments can be made online at www.piercecountywa.gov or dropped off at:

  • All deliveries for the Finance Department need to be delivered to the 3rd floor of this building (Use the Lobby Phone on 3rd Floor, Dial 1).
  • Procurement documents need to be delivered to the 3rd floor of this building (Use the Lobby Phone on 3rd Floor, Dial 6).
  • Warrant pickup on 3rd floor of this building (Use the Lobby Phone on 3rd Floor, Dial 2).
