Pierce County, along with the rest of the state, country and world, are facing an unprecedented challenge with communities and economies everywhere affected by the growing COVID-19 pandemic. We, along with our partners at the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, have witnessed residents coming together with local governments, nonprofits and other organizations across industries and sectors to help respond to this global outbreak. The outpouring of solidarity and support sparked by this shared challenge has been phenomenal.
So many of you have asked how you can support the community, and together, we found a way to give help or get help to those who need it the most. Pierce County Donations Connector provides anyone who is able to with various ways to support their neighbors, communities and everyone on the front lines working to keep vital services up and running.
Find volunteer opportunities with United Way of Pierce County and give help through our friends at Greater Tacoma Community Foundation, Emergency Food Network and local homeless shelters.
