Despite the challenging times, the Human Services Minor Home Repair Program continues to solve urgent housing problems for Pierce County residents. From broken furnaces to leaking pipes, employees Lesa Mancini-Williamson and Jennifer Wamboldt have seen – and helped fix – it all.
Contractors are still available to make essential repairs, and these projects are often needed to keep people safely living in their homes. “Our team has had to figure out how to get our work done with a mix of new and old technology,” Jennifer noted. These projects continue to move forward thanks to the program’s great coordination and a group of dedicated contractors.
