[ARCHIVED] Comment on draft Stormwater Manual by June 1

Comment by June 1 on draft changes to the Pierce County Stormwater Management and Site Development Manual

The Stormwater Manual establishes requirements for residential, commercial, industrial and subdivision projects to prevent and minimize impacts from stormwater runoff.

Last fall we asked for your suggestions for edits to the Stormwater Manual that could be made in conjunction with the changes required by the Department of Ecology.

We have revised the manual based on your feedback and the Ecology requirements and are once again looking for your comments. The draft documents are now available to download and review. Please submit your comments, suggestions or questions by June 1.

Pierce County must adopt the revised Stormwater Manual by July 1, 2021. If you would like to comment through the adoption process you can sign up for notifications to receive notice of future Planning Commission and Council Hearings.

Thank you. We appreciate your feedback.

Would you like to attend a virtual meeting about the updates?
We are considering a virtual meeting to review the updates towards the end of May. If you would be interested in attending, please send a message to [email protected].
