Reminder: Draft Stormwater Manual Comments due by June 1

Reminder: Draft Stormwater Manual Comments due by June 1

Have you had a chance to review the draft changes to the Stormwater Manual? To protect water quality, the Manual establishes design and analysis criteria related to stormwater runoff for almost all types of development activity.

The revisions in the draft document were based on industry feedback and Department of Ecology requirements. We are accepting your comments, suggestions or questions until June 1.

Pierce County must adopt the revised Stormwater Manual by July 1, 2021. If you would like to comment through the adoption process you can sign up for notifications to receive notice of future Planning Commission and Council Hearings.

Thank you. We do value and appreciate your feedback!

Would you like to attend a virtual meeting about the updates?
We are considering a virtual meeting to review the updates in early June. If you are interested in attending, please send a message to [email protected].
