[ARCHIVED] Free hygiene services available at Sprinker

homeless news flash

Pierce County Human Services has been working with local partners to increase hygiene and sanitation services for people experiencing homelessness.

As of May 20, 2020, Sprinker Recreation Center is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m for residents to utilize showers, bathrooms and other sanitation services at no cost. To maintain preventative public health measures, some guests may have to wait outside as access will be limited to a certain number of people. Residents may arrive on their own to Sprinker Recreation Center, located at 14824 C St. S., in Tacoma.

These services are funded through $158 million in Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act federal dollars.
