Pierce County Human Services is announcing the funding decision for round one from federal CARES Act dollars. These expenditures are part of the community response and resilience plan to prevent people from losing their current housing, keep people in shelters safe and provide necessary resources to our unsheltered residents. A total of $985,280 will be allocated to the following agencies for rental assistance, emergency shelter and hygiene and sanitation services:
- Associated Ministries
- Recovery Café Orting Valley
- Share and Care House
- Tacoma Community House/Reach
- St Vincent de Paul of Tacoma
- Catholic Community Services
- Comprehensive Life Resources
- Harbor Hope Center
- The Coffee Oasis
- Valeo Vocation
- YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties
