Veterans rental and mortgage assistance now available

Veterans services

Pierce County Veterans Assistance Programs has received $400,000 to support veterans impacted by COVID-19. This funding comes from the federal CARES Act and will broadly expand services for Veterans and their families in our communities.

Features of the Veterans Emergency COVID-19 Program include assistance with the following:

  • Rent
  • Mortgage
  • Vehicle (lease/car payments)
  • Food
  • Back Payments of rent and utilities

Veterans who may not have qualified for services previously are encouraged to apply as eligibility requirements have changed. To access rental or mortgage assistance, easily submit an application online. For other Veterans programs and services contact the Veterans team by email or calling 253-798-7449.
