Pierce County has awarded $400K of the CARES Act funding to eight agencies providing domestic and family violence prevention services. This funding will support domestic violence victims impacted by the pandemic and assist local domestic violence services providers in response to the increased COVID-19 emergency. The priority of this funding is to support the needs of people experiencing domestic and family violence through the following activities:
- Legal assistance services
- Access to technology and technology support
- Emergency vouchers for unique and emergent needs
- Training, education and outreach efforts
The following domestic and family violence services providers will receive funding to serve Pierce County residents in response to the COVID-19 crisis and recovery.
