Have you ever wondered what Pierce County Human Services’ budget looks like? Where does all that money go and why don’t we have enough to end homelessness? Do you have ideas that you think will improve your community? If you have an idea about a new project or project type that should be prioritized for funding in Pierce County, that is related to community development, we want to hear from you.
Pierce County Human Services Community Services Division is hosting a series of 'Community Think Tank' events to engage residents in helping shape the future of community development services. Participants will learn about funding within Human Services and have an opportunity to provide feedback about where to prioritize funding for 2021-2022. Starting at 1 p.m., come share your expertise, thoughts, suggestions, and recommendations with us at any of the following events:
These events feature presentations by John Barbee, Community Services Division manager.
