[ARCHIVED] Inspection Safety Reminder

Reminder about Job Site Safety Requirements
We are here to support our industry partners who are crucial to Pierce County’s economic recovery and the health of our community. To ensure timely and reliable inspections, please make sure the Phase 2 Construction Covid-19 Job Site Requirements are implemented before scheduling your inspection.

Our inspectors can cancel an inspection at any time if conditions are not safe. This could include non-compliance with the COVID-19 job site requirements:

  • PPE, including face masks
  • Social distancing whenever possible
  • Frequent handwashing with an adequate maintenance of supplies
  • COVID-19 screening protocol

Thank you for contributing to the safety of everyone who visits your construction sites.

We remain committed to partnering with you to ensure safe inspections for all. Please contact Nick Waggood, Assistant Building Official, by email if you have questions about inspections.
