Homeless Housing Program Funding Awards

PCHS news - homeless

Pierce County made approximately $12.9M available in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Washington State Department of Commerce, the Tacoma Housing Authority and local Homeless Document Recording Fee for our annual Homeless Housing Program (HHP) competitive funding process. These funds are awarded to support the Homeless Crisis Response System in alignment with the Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness and the Continuum of Care’s Five-Year Plan to End Homelessness. The funding will be used to support programs like Street Outreach, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing, Rapid Re-Housing, and Permanent Supportive Housing, as well as new initiatives like Safe Parking sites. Applications were accepted this Spring and the following agencies were awarded:
