July-August 2022 Heat Wave: Heat-Related Deaths in Pierce County

The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed 1 heat-related death due to the recent high temperatures in the region.  The following are the names, ages, and death location for cases confirmed where next of kin have been notified.  This list will be updated as investigations conclude and next of kin are notified.
