Eviction Prevention Awards Announced

Eviction Prevention Funding Awards

Pierce County Human Services has awarded over $6 million to support eviction prevention. The funding will be used to provide case management services to households at risk of homelessness due to rent arrears. Applications were accepted and the following agencies were awarded:

  • Multicultural Child and Family Hope Center - $2,500,000
  • Share and Care House - $3,818,188

Funding for this program is made available through the Washington State Department of Commerce Eviction Prevention House Bill 1277.
