Pierce County Human Services is announcing a request for proposals (RFP) for homeless prevention services. The Community Services division is soliciting applications from qualified organizations that will serve low-income households at-risk of homelessness who lack a safe and stable place to sleep.
This RFP includes funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is a one-time funding opportunity to make the biggest impact for at-risk households in Pierce County. Funding for this grant is allocated for a two-year period between January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025. Interested proposers should design an innovative program to meet the most need for vulnerable populations that follows the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness.
Applications are due no later than 2 p.m. on May 26, 2023. Interested parties must register with OpenGov, Pierce County’s new e-Procurement Portal, using this link. After signing up, an email will be sent to activate the account. There is no cost to register with OpenGov. Vendors already registered with OpenGov can view current solicitations.
Questions must be submitted no later than May 18 at noon. Interested parties may join the following virtual pre-proposal meeting:
