On May 2, the Pierce County Council confirmed the appointment of three new members to the Birth to 25 (B25) Advisory Board. The B25 Advisory Board proposes long-range policy, systems, and environmental change recommendations to the County Executive and County Council to ensure the successful development of infants, children, youth and young adults aged birth to 25.
The newly appointed members of B25 include:
- Cheri Beavers, representing District 7
- Claudia Miller, representing K-12 education
- Kimberly Dunn, representing Youth Workforce Development
The advisory board consists of 20 voting members who represent Pierce County, including members representing each County Council district, juvenile justice, behavioral health, special needs, homelessness and more. The three new members are replacing Bernadette Ray, Gina Cabiddu, and Rodney Robinson.
All members are committed to improving the services for and support of children, youth and young adults in Pierce County. B25 meets virtually the first Monday of every month at 9 a.m. Interested parties may join the meetings using information below:
