Pierce County Human Services is announcing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to support public facilities. We are soliciting applications for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) – Public Facilities Projects to provide funding for eligible public facilities projects that benefit low-income communities and/or low-income people, such as water/sewer and/or street improvements, property acquisition, and rehabilitation of housing and buildings.
Approximately $1.4 million is available from July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, and priority will be given to agencies requesting $250K or more. Projects must be ready to start within 90 days of contract execution and completed within two years.
Eligible projects must address funding priorities established by the Citizens’ Advisory Board, including infrastructure improvements or shelter and housing needs. Applications are due no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Applicants must register with OpenGov, Pierce County’s new e-Procurement Portal, using this link.
