Skate your way into 2015!

Sprinker Recreation Center's Ice Arena plays host to a number of events this month. Ice skating competitions and shows, learn-to-skate lessons and birthday parties are just a few. In fact, Sprinker is the perfect setting for your child's next birthday party.

Your birthday skating party includes:

  • Admission and skate rental for the day of your party
  • Downloadable birthday invitations 
  • Free skating passes for another day (skate rental not included)
  • Driving range passes for each child, compliments of Lake Spanaway Golf Course
  • Hosted party room with balloons and tableware for each paid party guest

No Sun Fun Run

Come rain, hail, sleet, or snow, the No Sun Fun Run will take place no matter what weather our South Sound winter provides! Join us Saturday, January 17 at 10 a.m. on the Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail in South Hill Puyallup. 

The run is non-competitive but timed. The early-registration deadline has already passed, but participants can arrive day-of and run for $30 per person (that does not include a t-shirt) or $5 per person for the one mile dash! Come join us for one of the first 5K runs of 2015.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Daddy-Daughter Dance in Wonderland

The Queen of Hearts cordially invites fathers and daughters of all ages to attend a very merry evening just for you! Pre-register now for the annual Daddy Daughter Dance on Saturday, February 7 (no tickets available at the door). 

Our 2015 Daddy Daughter Dance, featuring an "Alice in Wonderland" theme, will take place at Frontier Park Lodge in Graham from 7-9 p.m. With an array of music, come prepared to dance the night away and see special appearances of Wonderland characters courtesy of Emerald Kingdom Parties. 

Dance tickets are $18 per couple and $7 each additional daughter. Photo packages will be available for an additional fee.

Friday Family Movie Night

Join us for the first Family Movie Night of the New Year.  Families are invited to attend a viewing of ‘Blended’ January 23 at Chambers Creek Regional Park. Space is limited and pre-registration is preferred. $4/person, children ages 3 and under are free.  This indoor movie begins at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and families are encouraged to bring blankets and pillows to accompany the show.  Pre-movie activities include FREE building workshops with Bricks 4 Kidz using LEGO Bricks and Motors.
