Watch the U.S. Open set-up before next phase of closures in April Visitors to Chambers Creek Regional Park have the rare opportunity to watch the USGA construct the huge tents and grandstands for the U.S. Open, which is set for June 15-21. But time is running out. As we announced in February, the park is closing in phases as construction activity ramps up. On March 16, the Central Meadow, Off-Leash Dog Park, Bridge to the Beach, the beach itself, and the south section of the Soundview Trail closed to public access. On April 20, the Soundview Trail, the North Meadow, the entry road to the Central Meadow, and the Central Meadow restrooms and parking areas will close as well. The Grandview Trail, Playground by the Sound and golf course itself close May 26.
You can track the latest closures as we get closer to the big event by visiting our website.
