Dan Roach

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

It's hard to believe the holidays are upon us already! I hope all of you have a happy Thanksgiving, a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. This is a time for being with families and loved ones, so I sincerely wish all of you the best as we round out 2015.

Here at the County Council, we've just finished passing the County budget for 2016 and there are a number of good provisions in it that will improve public safety, help to complete some of the County's unfinished trails and parks and we were able to prevent some drastic fee increase proposals. Overall, it's a good, sustainable budget for Pierce County's citizens and I was proud to support it.

Below you'll find a number of great holiday activities both in our district and around the county. I hope you can find time to enjoy one with your family. As always, it remains my privilege to represent you in County government and please feel free to contact my office if you have any comments, questions or concerns.
