Sustainability 2030: Greenhouse Gas Reduction Proposed Plan 

A tentative schedule to review the proposed Sustainability 2030: Greenhouse Gas Reduction Plan for Pierce County has been established. These dates are subject to change, based on Council action.

Tentative Meeting Dates:

• Oct. 27, 9:30 a.m.: Planning Commission (Virtual Meeting via Zoom)
• Nov. 16, 1:30 p.m.: Community Development Committee (Virtual Meeting via Zoom. Tentative, pending Council approval)

The proposed plan was developed with numerous community Sustainability experts and Pierce County stakeholders. Review the proposed plan here.

The Sustainability 2030 plan outlines a ten-year goal and actions to take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across Pierce County government operations and the larger community. Ongoing community engagement and updates are planned as we work together to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and improve the health of Pierce County residents and our environment.
