STEAM Education for Climate Literacy
Attention teachers! We are happy to announce an inter-agency partnership offering professional development and clock hours for a first-ever STEAM Education for Climate Literacy series from the environmental educators at Pierce County, City of Tacoma, and Tacoma Public Utilities. We are each offering a class with local ties to Tacoma and Pierce County and its systems in relation to climate literacy.
You have two opportunities to attend each class, Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings in February. They will not be recorded. Show up virtually to learn about these systems, take away three lesson plans adaptable to most grades, and see how each agency can help support your curriculum. The series is FREE to Tacoma and Pierce County teachers.
Please help us spread the word and forward to any teacher/administrator you think might be interested!
