Community Plan Updates Take Effect October 1 

Community Plan updates for the Frederickson, Mid-County, Parkland-Spanaway-Midland and South Hill communities take effect tomorrow, October 1st. These updates include the Centers and Corridors concept that addresses rapid growth, traffic, jobs and housing in these communities which make up the majority of Pierce County’s central urban growth area. 

Our staff have been working hard to ensure that interested parties like you are informed and prepared for these changes. We hosted a Lunch and Learn on September 21st which you can view on the Community Plan Updates website along with:
