Dear Friends,

 
We are closing in on another Thanksgiving holiday. A majority of the council just voted to pass the 2022-2023 biennium budget. I am thankful that is done. There are some excellent projects and policies for our district that will be of boundless benefit to all in 2022-2023.

I am learning that there is something about the aging process that continues to mature us in our hearts and minds. I see life through different lenses now…perhaps because of my tendency to reflect on the choices and consequences I made over the years. Now, coming full circle, the importance and value of the relationships we have with family and friends is purposeful, very real and meaningful. So much to be thankful for!

I would like to express how grateful I am for you…your support is immeasurable…and I ask that you take a few moments to reminisce about the blessings you have received over your lifetime. It’s good for the soul. For me, one month ago, I was blessed to welcome a new granddaughter into my life. What a miracle! I am thankful for the circle of life. I didn’t expect to be eligible for grandparent status already. How quickly these things sneak up.

From my office to your home, please accept Larry’s (my assistant) and my sincere wish that your Thanksgiving holiday be a time for creating memories that celebrate you and your life as we start the process to close out 2021 and welcome 2022.
