The older we get, things don’t slow down and who doesn’t need a break from cooking or a quick meal when time is short? Our younger generation is working hard to learn new skills and provide a service you need or can enjoy. I received this information from Director Ledbetter at the Piece County Skills Center and wanted to pass it on to you.
Director Ledbetter says:
Greetings from PCSC,
We had a great fall opening of the Glacier Grill and if you didn't have a chance to join us, don't worry. Starting Monday, Jan. 24 you'll have the opportunity to indulge in our winter menu. Students have been exploring the concepts of fusion cuisine and the ties between different world cuisines. They are turning to the foods and flavors of Japan, the Pacific Islands, and the Caribbean for inspiration in their creation of both traditional and new dishes.
The hours of operation, and the menu, are below. Our school calendar is also below so you are able to plan ahead for days the grill is closed, either due to professional development days or holidays. New this year is the ability to order ahead using Square, the QR code is the menu, or have your order delivered using DoorDash.
Hours of Operation:
7:30-9:30 a.m. - coffee bar/breakfast
9:30 a.m.-1: p.m. - lunch - we recommend avoiding 10:45-11:15 - it's our busiest time serving students and staff before the start of the PM session.
Closed - Wednesday, Jan. 26 for Staff PD day
You may park in the north lot by the portables, but the best place to park is in the south lot by the flag pole. The only doors open to access the building are by the flag pole.
