Good Morning Contractors!
Pierce County Community Action Programs would like to invite you to our upcoming Contractor’s Forum on Wednesday, March 16 from 8 – 9 AM. We will be hosting an in-person opportunity to learn about how you can help build thriving communities for low-income residents of Pierce County. We invite residential plumbers, electricians, carpenters, roofers, handyman, small business construction/home improvement companies to come learn about the prevailing wage contacting opportunities.
Our new procurement system offers competitive opportunities for small businesses to perform residential repairs & energy conservation projects for the Weatherization and Minor Home Repair programs. This information session will cover who we are, what we do and how we use the bid procurement system.
We welcome you to attend in person at the Pierce County Human Services building (3602 Pacific Ave, Suite 200, Tacoma, WA 98418). If you are unable to attend in-person, please join us via Zoom. Please register here and let us know how you will be attending. You are welcome to share our flyer to others who may benefit from this forum as well.
While we look forward to this forum, the health and safety of all remains our top priority. Please wear mask while at the venue except when eating or drinking and maintain physical distancing. We ask that you attend virtually if you are experiencing any COVID 19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID 19.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you,
Community Action Programs Staff
