Pierce County Tourism Destination Plan RFP

Pierce County Call for Proposals for Tourism Destination Strategic Plan: Due by April 15, 2022


Pierce County Economic Development, on behalf of the Pierce County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and the Pierce County Tourism Promotion Area Commission, seeks to develop a Tourism Destination Strategic Plan in 2023 (RFP 22-063). The plan should result in a 10-year “road-map” for tourism that details opportunities and projects to improve and enhance the destination’s offerings, ultimately increasing overnight visitation. The RFP deadline is April 15, 2022. 

Interested firms must register with Pierce County to  submit a proposal. 


Small Business Flex Fund

Small Business Flex Fund Loan Program

Small businesses and nonprofits can apply for a low-interest loan of up to $150,000 to finance expansion and growth as well as recover from the pandemic and subsequent economic slowdown through the Washington State Department of Commerce Small Business Flex Fund. Interested applicants pre-apply on the Flex Fund’s online portal and, if they qualify, will be matched with a lender.
