911 Dashboard, Committee Schedule and 2021 Report
At its April 27, 2022 regular meeting the Performance Audit Committee will review and discuss the following items:
911 Dashboard
This project originates from a request by the Performance Audit Committee and was included as part of the Performance Audit Work Plan in May 2018. The committee directed staff to conduct a study assessing 911 police response times including (a) call answering time; (b) answering time to dispatch time; and (c) dispatch time to arrival on scene; and evaluate trends and causes for any changes in response times.
Legislative Analyst Nathan Schumer has prepared an interactive dashboard for demonstration at the meeting. The dashboard displays response times and call types by district, in addition to other metrics. This can be used to compare metrics over time and analyze trends.
2022 Committee Schedule
The committee will review a draft schedule for the year based off the priorities of the 2022 committee work program.
2021 Annual Report
Committee staff will present the 2021 Performance Audit Committee Annual Report to the committee for review, as required by the Pierce County Charter.
