Christine Cole, a classroom teacher at Cougar Mountain Middle School, said, “The school yard habitat project is a welcoming part of CMMS. It invites all who are part of our school community to observe, relate, interact, and just relax with nature. It helps students understand and learn how we are all a vital part of the environment, and we need to find ways to protect it. I can't wait for our students to notice the changes and write, reflect, research, experiment and grow with our school yard habitat!”
