Dear Friends,
No doubt our short summer is filling up with events. The 4th of July is just around the corner and Eatonville will be having their annual fireworks display at the middle school on Sunday, July 3. The new Eatonville Business Association (EBA) is looking for vendors and entertainers, as well as participants for the parade on Monday.
If you have a food truck and are available to do business July 3, from about 5 p.m. on, please get your application in by the end of business day Friday, June 17. Yes, that’s the day after tomorrow. It’s takes time to work out the logistics. Sorry for the short notice.
The field packs out with people who are looking for food and fun items to purchase and information about your specialty. If you are a vendor, for profit or not for profit, there’s space available for you. This is a low cost opportunity for businesses, clubs and organizations to share their goods, name and story to the people who come from all around to enjoy the festivities.
For those who missed auditions for America’s Got Talent, the EBA is looking for family-friendly entertainers who are waiting to be seen or discovered. A large stage and PA system will be set up at the north end of the football field on July 3 for people with talent to entertain the crowd as we wait for the stars to come out and begin the fireworks. If you visualize yourself on this platform…singing, dancing, comedy, etc., and want to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the Eatonville Business Association ASAP. It’s about having fun and making memories!
There’s more! On Monday the 4th is the annual 4th of July Parade. If you want to participate, show up dressed and ready-to-go at the high school by 11 a.m. The parade starts at noon. You’ll see decorated cars, animals, children, families, businesses, tractors, cheer teams, and more. Spectators line the streets. You may want to bring your own lawn chair. Spaces along the streets fill up fast. I hope to see you there!
Grateful for you!
P.S. Mark you calendars. The Pierce County Fair is coming to Graham August 11-14. It’s their 75th anniversary!
