Washington State Department of Commerce Working Washington Grants: Round 5 Opens August 17-31

The Washington State Legislature set aside $70 million for Working Washington Grants: Round 5. Portions of the available funds are set aside for specific sectors.
60% for the arts, heritage, and science sectors, including live entertainment venues. 40% for most other sectors, including hospitality, fitness, and personal services.

Import Notice for Grant Applicants: As of April 2022, recipients of grants using federal funds are required to have a UEI, which replaces the DUNS Number. If you don’t have one yet, you may want to apply now. You may apply for grants without one, but cannot receive funds until you have a UEI. Click here to learn more.

Washington State Department of Commerce Convention Center Grant Opens August 17-31

The Washington State Legislature has allocated $5 million for a grant program to assist businesses and nonprofits that are dependent to maintain their operations on the economic activity created through conventions hosted in Washington state.

Small Business Flex Fund

Small Business Flex Fund Loan Program

Small businesses and nonprofits can apply for a low-interest loan of up to $150,000 to finance expansion and growth as well as recover from the pandemic and subsequent economic slowdown through the Washington State Department of Commerce Small Business Flex Fund. Interested applicants pre-apply on the Flex Fund’s online portal and, if they qualify, will be matched with a lender.
