Pierce County Planning & Public Works and Floodplains for the Future welcome you to explore seven project sites embodying the partnership, community, habitat and agricultural values that make Pierce County a place people are proud to call home.In this "choose-your-own-adventure" watershed tour, you will see examples of active construction, restoration and deeply collaborative planning processes. Learn how we're connecting communities, reducing flood risk, improving salmon habitat, supporting agriculture and restoring floodplains across the County.
Feature projects include Orville Road Revetment, South Prairie Creek Reach, Canyon Road Regional Connection, Clear Creek Integrated Design, Swan Creek Streambank Stabilization, Lower White River Restoration and the Chambers Creek Bridge Replacement.
Pierce County representatives and partners will staff the project locations, making themselves available to answer questions and explain how your investment contributes to building a better future for our community, environment and wildlife.
