Dear Friends,

Conservation Districts were born out the dust bowl days in the 1930s. Here, Pierce County and most of its cities and towns have contracted with the Pierce Conservation District for its services. Each property parcel is taxed $10 yearly to support their programs. 

Below is information about their annual meeting Wednesday, March 15. The Annual Meeting & Celebration is FREE and open to the public; however, registration is required. Polls will be open from 4 – 8 p.m. for a final opportunity to vote in the Pierce Conservation District's Board of Supervisor election.
