What if I can’t make it on the date I chose?: All ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

1. Is my ticket good for the entire event?: Your ticket is valid for one-time parking ONLY for the day and time slot you purchased.

3. Will there be bag checks at the gate?: No, there will not be bag checks. We will have some delicious food vendors on site, but feel free to bring your own food and beverages. Alcoholic drinks are not permitted.

4. I bought my ticket ahead of time. What do I need to bring?: Guests will be asked to show a printed parking ticket, or one loaded on a mobile phone. The QR code will be scanned upon arrival.

5. Can I buy my ticket the day-of?: Yes, tickets may be purchased on-site with Visa/MasterCard. You may also purchase your ticket on-site via your smartphone at https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1268/Kite-Festival.

6. Will you accept cash or credit card for tickets purchased on site?: We can accept cash or credit card for on-site purchases. You may also purchase your ticket on-site via your smartphone at https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1268/Kite-Festival.

7. Can I walk or bike in?: Chambers Creek Regional Park will be open to foot and bike traffic. All guests are encouraged to purchase a parking ticket and enter the park off Chambers Creek Road near Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.

8. Is this event suitable for all ages?: Yes! Bring the kids, grandparents, friends, and anyone else!

9. Can I bring my own kite?: Yes! Feel free to bring your own kites!

10. I don’t have a kite, can I buy one?: We will have kite kits available for purchase at $4.00/kit. Credit card purchases are preferred. Ocean Shores Kites will also be on site with kites available to purchase.

11. Will Chambers Creek Regional Park still be open to the public?: Yes! Chambers Creek Regional Park will be open to the public; however, all vehicles will be asked to purchase a parking ticket and enter the park off Chambers Creek Road near Chambers Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The park will still be open to foot and bike traffic. Want to avoid the crowd? We encourage you to check out some of Pierce County's other parks!

12. Can I bring my dog?: Yes, well-mannered and non-aggressive dogs are welcome.

13. Can I bring a pop-up tent or shade structure?: In order to allow optimal viewing for all participants, we ask anyone with a pop-up tent or shade structure to set up on the West side of the field. The area is marked in orange on the event map.
