Do I need a stamp to mail my ballot?: Returning your ballot is easy! No stamp is required if you are mailing your ballot or using a ballot drop box.

1. How do I register to vote?

There are three ways to register to vote:

Online
In person at the Pierce County Election Center, 2501 S 35th St, Suite C, Tacoma, WA 98409
By mail - Call and a form can be mailed to you. (253) 798-VOTE (8683)

2. How do I change my address or name on my voter registration?: To update your address or change your name visit VoteWA.

3. How do I get a replacement ballot?: If you did not receive or need a replacement ballot, please call our office at 253-798-VOTE (8683).

4. Where can I get voter data?: Fill out, pre-pay, and submit a Registered Voters Data Order Form

5. What are under and over votes?: An under vote is when a voter chooses not to vote on a specific race or issue. An over vote is when a voter votes for two or more candidates in a race or votes for both "yes" and "no" on an issue.

6. How do I change my political party?: Washington State does not register voters by political party or party affiliation.

7. Why did I get a jury summons?: Jury summons are mailed by Pierce County Superior Court Jury Administration. The courts use both the voter registration file and the Washington Drivers License list to choose potential jurors.
